I love your captures of the unusual serviceberry blossom - which I've never encountered over here. In that last shot, I can see how intricate the actual flowers are. Isn't this the most wonderful time of the year?
How are those little nest-building wrens doing? I'm looking forward to seeing them again!
Oh Connie, Serviceberry trees are trees that we probably have, yet I do not know. Your images are magical, just really beautiful. Have a joy filled day!
Connie, I have never seen nor heard of these, and they are just beautiful! Our crocuses bloomed for the first time yesterday, and they were so wonderful to see.
I cannot thank you enough for your kind words. Ending The Creative Exchange for now, was indeed a very sad decision for me, but I also know I am doing the right thing at this time.
How did we get from Amelanchier to Serviceberry I wonder. Such a nice contrast between the ethereal flowers and the leathery background. It will be a sea of foamy white around you soon.
Connie, just stopping back for another look, and to say thank you so very much for sharing these beautiful photographs with us at The Creative Exchange.
Hi Connie, Your Serviceberry's are already blooming! Lovely sight, isn't it? Ours are not yet there, but I so enjoy these wonderful shrubs/trees, they bloom, they give fruit, they shelter the birds, they are beautiful! Thank you for post them and reminding me mine will soon be coming to life soon! I love your textures! Have a wonderful week.

Connie your images are beautiful. These flowers are very interesting. I've never seen them before.
What miracle indeed! And what gorgeous images!
And to have eyes and the right mind to understand and appreciate it is the best!
Lovely blossoms, never seen serviceberry before.

Beautiful work, Connie!
I love how the hazy stem makes the blossom look like it's suspended in air...lovely processing!

My serviceberry hasn't shown any signs of blooming yet. This is so lovely and makes be quite impatient!
