Practice Makes Perfect

The Audubon bird call above was my favorite stocking stuffer this past Christmas.

I've been practicing on these little guys,

but so far, none of them seem to be buying it.

These bird photos are gorgeous and wonderfully clear.

You've got me totally flummoxed with that gadget. The birdies are precious in their subtle setting. And it seems they are paying attention to you.

Oh what a special shot!
I am not so lucky even when the birds land on my hands, my camera is not with me!

What gorgeous shades and textures, how on earth did you manage to capture such stillness? Just wonderful.

Oh. my. That's all I have to say. Beautiful work and texturing and most importantly, just the feel from your last 2 images.

I LOVE it Connie (bird caller)!!
These are beautiful photographs. Such sweet little ones, and I love the texture you chose.

Thank you so much for sharing with us at The Creative Exchange today.

Have a wonderful afternoon!

Your post reminds me of my husband’s Christmas present this year....he got Silbey’s bird Calling Book for his iPhone and he has gone nuts over it. I never know who is chirping away when we are out hiking. I cannot tell the difference. genie

so cool that you have your own!
I remember tucking one lovingly
into one of my kid's stockings
years ago
and wishing it were mine:)
wonder if he'd miss it.....

Hi there - I got one of the bird callers from a friend of mine in Ohio - I think I'm having the same rate of success with it that you are. I think it has the wrong accent!

Very nice pictures!

I must report a success with the Audubon bird call. I was in the woods with my son. His girlfriend had given me one of these calls and I had been driving everyone crazy making little squeeks everywhere, market, library, resturant...Well, we had a group of tuffted titmice and chickadees going bonkers jumping around like overdrive mating behaviour. It was wild!
