I just completed a watercolor illustration of 3 carrots for my website, and I also put them for sale on my Zazzle store (on an apron, a t-shirt, and a greeting card). I'm hoping the gardeners and the cooks of the world will be beating down the door to get them. The whole time I was painting, I kept craving carrots. This looks like an easy project, right? It might have been, but I kept eating the research and having to go to the store for replacements. It's finished--finally! And hey, my eyesight has never been better.
For me, life is fairly simple: love God, love your neighbor, do your art. As a Christian, my first priority is loving God, and I believe a part of loving Him is being grateful for what He's given us. Here in the Ozarks, we have much to appreciate and enjoy. And so this blog attempts to do a little of this: appreciate God's wonders, and share them with you, my neighbors.
