One Bright Daisy

Frost coated the leaves this morning,

and weeds, dry and bent from the dying of summer,

sparkled along the roadside.

Among them, standing tall, was one bright daisy.

Did it know it was alone,

giving pleasure to those who passed by?

So I picked it.

That lone Daisy is bathed in pure gold. And the wayward petals are obviously hearing music somewhere and ready to dance. Poetic image. How you get that glowing background escapes me.I have changed my resolution to 1280 and your pictures now look even better.

Very nice texture on that daisy!!

Thanks, Hannah! The textures I used here are Kim Klassen's uglove, and Saffron Fields by French Kiss Textures. Saffron helps with the glow, I think, and I shot it in front of a flaming yellow/orange tree.
