Gorgeous photos of beautiful flowers, Grace. Spring is here in Virginia too. I like the beginning of spring the best because the anticipation and the watching of the opening of the buds are very exciting.

I think my dear husband would find it difficult to accept all ten of your reasons -- he would take exception to henbit because he finds little to love about its invasive nature in our hayfields. Still, looking at it close-up, it is pretty and such a lovely color and such a predictable part of our spring -- guess we'd miss ole henbit if he/she failed to show. The others -- all well loved!
